Umhausen is located in the middle of the Ötztal and is the perfect starting point for numerous activities. Discover Tyrol's largest waterfall, the Stuibenfall, in the immediate vicinity of our apartments. Or explore the Ötzi village and the bird of prey park.

The Ötztal Summer Card offers all summer highlights of Ötztal in one card. This includes free rides on the summer mountain lifts, free or discounted admission to swimming pools, outdoor pools and museums, free use of public transport in the valley and much more.

Over 1,600 kilometers of hiking trails meander through the Ötztal, the longest side valley in Tyrol. From Umhausen you can embark on ambitious summit tours as well as leisurely hikes. Simply put on your hiking boots and set off.
9. Cross-country skiing in Niederthai
Just a few minutes' drive from Apart Dorhoam is the tranquil village of Niederthai on a beautiful sunny plateau. There are a total of 16 kilometers of trails for beginners and advanced skiers. All night owls will be delighted by the floodlit night trails.
10. Ötztal Cycle Trail
The Ötztal Cycle Trail is a wonderful experience for young and old. The trail starts at the beginning of the valley, in Haiming, and ends in Sölden at 1,377 meters. Look forward to over 50 kilometers of cycle path with beautiful views away from the road.
